Hannah Pryce made any number of athletic stops in collecting 18 saves for M-W.“They (M-W) are a good defensive team and their goalie is very good and played a great game. Communication has always been the key for us but today we didn’t need to communicate. The girls were out like they were messing around. They were very comfortable, everyone knew what everyone else was going to do,” said Lisbon Coach Sarah White. “All 18 players were involved on the field and on the bench. When you have that, things will always go well.”Chateaugay 6 - Harrisville 0: Two teams from the Eastern and West borders of Section 10 met on the field of the Bulldogs who celebrated the team win and a scoring milestone by senior Irelynn LaPlante who scored her 100th career goal. LaPlante scored twice converting off assists from Mya MaComb and Payton Parmeter on a day when all six Bulldog scores came off assists. Payton Parmeter scored two goals and passed out three assists. Khloe Parmter netted one goal with an assist and Vicki Stubbs also scored.Ava Stables stopped three shots to post the shutout.“We played well on both sides of the ball. We now need to be ready for Wednesday.”Heuvelton 1 - C-P 0: Heuvelton earned the chance to move on for a trip to Chateaugay by winning tenacious matchup with the Colts. Kerrigan Doyle tallied the only goal of the game with 14:10 remaining in the game.“Kerrigan’s game-winning goal came on a beautiful kick from just outside the 18 yard line,” said Heuvelton Coach Denise Currie.Ava Blackburn made 11 saves in the shutout and C-P netminder Shea Charleston finished with eight saves.CLASS BOFA 2 - Salmon River 1: The Blue Devils posted a third straight win and reversed two losses to the Shamrocks in the NAC Central league season.“We pressured them a great deal in the game and the girls had a lot of chances. We missed some good opportunities but we have had trouble finishing all year. But it was a great win for the girls and we move on,” said OFA Coach Amy Lemke. “Carlee Thompson and Quinn Duprey really played well at sweeper and stopper and our defense was solid the whole game.”Thompson also scored the only goal of the first half knocking home a penalty shot after Marisol Bertrand drew a penalty call in the box. Salmon River tied the score in the second half and Amya LaFlair delivered the winning goal with three minutes to play redirecting a right corner kick by Ireland McNally just inside the left goal post.
