Top 2027 recruit Maci Pringle commits to Tennessee

Top 2027 recruit Maci Pringle has committed to Tennessee. The 6-1 wing from Flower Mound (TX) High School chose the Lady Vols over programs including Arizona State, Vanderbilt and Georgia. “I just describe my game as electric,” she said. “I feel like I’m long and athletic. I’m going to run out the floor. I jump up high, make sure I get rebounds, kick it out or take it all the way down the floor. I’m starting to open up my game more on the three and on the midrange, so just trying to be a little bit more consistent on the outside, so I can go into that guard position while also being 6-foot-1. So bringing that versatility to the game is also super important to me, but also that energy.”There were several factors Pringle was considering in her decision. “On a visit, I love pretty places,” she told Rivals. “It’s just a personal preference. I’m a nature girl. I like to be outside somewhere with good scenery. But I especially like a good relationship with my teammates. How are they gonna treat the freshmen, you know? With the new five for five rule, are we gonna be competition? We still want to be women together and stuff like that. I’m looking for good recovery too, but I know most schools have got it, so it’s not really a huge thing. I want to major in pre-med, so I’m just looking for somewhere that’s going to be able to guide me through that pathway. I love having a good relationship with a coach. I feel like I can run through a wall if I have a coach like that.”
