Paige Spiranac’s Golf Tip Sparks Wild Reaction From Fan

Brett Davis-Imagn ImagesYou would never guess that a simple lesson on how to place a golf ball on a tee could cause such a stir. Paige Spiranac and her friend Kendall Toole just showed everyone the right way to set up for a swing. But the real story is the funny comment from a guy named Rich that popped up on Instagram right after. He tried to turn a golf tip into a joke about bending knees and hips.Paige spent years as the top golf influencer in the world per OutKick. She used to wear costumes and try to get attention that way. That stuff started to feel old and tired to her fans. Things changed when she stopped trying so hard and just started having fun. Now she plays with a partner and laughs while she teaches. It feels real and fresh to people watching. The New Way To PlayKendall Toole is the partner Paige picked to help out. Many people remember Kendall from riding a stationary bike during the COVID years. She was a big name at Peloton before she started golfing with Paige. The two of them made a step-by-step lesson plan to show how to tee a ball up. They focus on giggling and dropping jokes while they show the moves. This mix of fun and tips is what makes the content pop now.The formula seems to be rather simple. Generate material suitable for distribution among Neanderthals within their golf messaging circles. Paige leans into being herself. She is not trying to be a perfect instructor. She is just Paige having a good time on the course. That is why people are watching and sharing these clips so much.A Comment That Stole the ShowNot everyone took the lesson seriously. One person on Instagram wrote something that made people stop and laugh. A guy named Rich shared his thoughts on how the ladies should bend their bodies. He wrote, “Good girls bend at the knee, bad girls bend at the hip… Or something like that… might be the other way round,”. It was a silly comment that got a lot of attention.Rich posted this while the video was getting shared around. He clearly thought he was being funny. The comment shows how some people still see golf as a place for old jokes. But Paige and Kendall are moving past that. They are showing that golf can be fun for everyone without the mean comments.Paige was seen in action during a Pro-Am event before the Truist Championship 2026. That game took place on May 6, 2026, at Quail Hollow Country Club in Charlotte.
