INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indiana Pacers open their 2026-27 home schedule vs. the Dallas Mavericks and Cooper Flagg at 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 23 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.Indiana opened the 2026-27 season with a 123-120 win over the New Orleans Pelicans. Tyrese Haliburton scored 23 points with 12 assists in leading the Pacers' fourth-quarter comeback in his first regular season game since tearing his Achilles tendon in Game 7 of the 2025 NBA Finals. Ivica Zubac had 16 points and 15 rebounds in his first game with Haliburton and Pascal Siakam scored a team-high 30 points with 8 rebounds.The Mavericks were blown out by the Houston Rockets, 128-110, in their season opener Wednesday.
