Ohio State rises after Maryland win in latest US LBM Coaches Poll

The latest US LBM Coaches poll is out, and Ohio State saw a very modest rise, up one spot to No. 5. It's a one-spot climb from the previous two weeks in which the Buckeyes were at No. 6, and it comes after a dominating performance against Maryland at home.There is, however, a new No. 1. The Georgia Bulldogs leaped up to the top spot after their win over Alabama Saturday. The others ahead of the Buckeyes include Notre Dame (2), Miami (FL) (3), and Indiana (4). Behind the Scarlet and Gray and rounding out the top ten are Texas (6), Alabama (7), BYU (8), Texas Tech (9), and Ole Miss (10). A win there would boost the Buckeyes' profile, ranking, and chances of making the postseason.
