Logansport’s Jackson 5 making great music on football field

Logansport’s Jackson 5 is making great music together on the football field for the Berries. The quintet, also known as Jackson, Jackson, Jackson, Jaxsyn and Jaxon, consists of five guys on the LHS football team that have the same or similar given name or surname. They are orchestrating mass chaos into organized harmony on the gridiron, making a symphony of destruction for opposing teams while drawing chants and cheers from their cheerleaders and fans. There’s the Jackson brothers, Quincy and Karsen, breaking off big plays left and right on offense while being two of the team’s surest tacklers on defense. There’s Jackson Wicker hauling in key passes down the field and also making bone-rattling tackles from his safety position on defense. There’s Jaxsyn Walker winding and weaving through opposing defenses when he has the ball in his hands while also being one of the best in coverage when he’s playing defense. And there’s Jaxon Cowles holding down the fort for the JV team working to keep the future of the program bright. The current state of the program is strong. The Berries are 10-0 and ranked No. 10 in Class 4A. They are Hoosier Conference champions and are two wins away from a sectional championship heading into Friday night’s semifinal game at Jay County. The Pharos-Tribune caught up with Logansport’s Jackson 5 and asked five questions about music, life and football.Quincy JacksonFavorite song for gameday?Put Yo Hood Up by Lil Jon & The East Side BoyzFavorite college team?AlabamaFavorite food?Seafood boilFavorite thing to do in free time?Go on drive while listening to musicMost energetic on team?Karsen JacksonKarsen JacksonFavorite song for gameday?Ohms by DeftonesFavorite college team?LSUFavorite food?SteakFavorite thing to do in free time?Work on my craftMost energetic on team?Greyson CottrellJackson WickerFavorite song for gameday?Young Dumb & Broke by KhalidFavorite college team?PurdueFavorite food?SushiFavorite thing to do in free time?Lift weightsMost energetic on team?Quincy JacksonJaxsyn WalkerFavorite song for gameday?Faneto by Chief KeefFavorite college team?Notre DameFavorite food?SteakFavorite thing to do in free time?Play my gameMost energetic on team?Karsen JacksonJaxon CowlesFavorite song for gameday?Money on Money by Young Thug (feat.
