How former LSU OL Tyree Adams is faring at new SEC school in 2026

LSU football experienced a mass exodus of talent after the firing of Brian Kelly and an abysmal 2025 season. One of those former players who transferred is Tyree Adams. The offensive lineman earned a starting job with an SEC rival. Through eight games with Texas A&M in 2026, Adams logged all 498 of his snaps at left tackle. The senior replaced one of four offensive starters up front for head coach Mike Elko's team. Per PFF, Adams has an overall 67.7 grade and a 69.5 run-block grade, which ranks No. 4 among SEC left tackles. Both numbers are over 10 points better than last season. However, Adams is pressured at a higher rate with the Aggies. His 4.63% pressure rate this year is more than a percentage point higher than it was with the Tigers in 2025. He has been penalized just four times in 2026.While donning the purple and gold in 2025, Adams started nine games at left tackle and allowed one sack. He missed four games with a high ankle sprain that required tightrope surgery. The Marrero, LA native spent three seasons in Baton Rouge.
