PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA - SEPTEMBER 13: Dontayvion Wicks #13 celebrates with his teammate DeVonta Smith #6 of the Philadelphia Eagles after scoring a touchdown against the Washington Commanders during an NFL football game at Lincoln Financial Field on September 13, 2026 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. (Photo by Michael Owens/Getty Images) | Getty Images The Philadelphia Eagles issued their second injury report of the week on Friday in advance of their Week 7 Monday Night Football game against the Dallas Cowboys. The Eagles listed six players under DID NOT PARTICIPATE: DeVonta Smith, Dontayvion Wicks, Dallas Goedert, Nolan Smith, Jonathan Greenard, and Michael Carter II.Smith, Wicks, Goedert, Smith, and Carter II missed practice for the second day in a row. Two straight missed practices to begin the week typically does not portend well for a player’s chances of playing in the upcoming game. The Inquirer’s Jeff McLane reports that Smith and Wicks are indeed tracking to miss Monday night … but there’s “optimism” that Goedert might be able to suit up.If neither Smith nor Wicks play, the Eagles will be down to these receivers: Makai Lemon, Darius Cooper, Elijah Moore, Hollywood Brown, and Britain Covey. Electric. Greenard was downgraded from limited on Thursday to DNP on Friday. Not ideal. With Greenard and Smith on track to miss this game, the Eagles are looking thin at edge rusher. The Eagles listed eight players under LIMITED PARTICIPATION: Saquon Barkley, Landon Dickerson, Jalyx Hunt, Tyler Steen, Moro Ojomo, A.J. Epenesa, Willie Lampkin, and Fred Johnson.Barkley is expected to play on Monday night. Not ideal that he hasn’t been able to fully participate in practice yet but guessing the Eagles are managing his workload to help get him to the game. There seems to be a sense that Dickerson might play on Monday … but I’m not buying it until we see him practice in full at least one time before the game. Maybe that happens on Saturday? We’ll see.Hunt was limited for the second day in a row. He might be able to suit up against the Cowboys. With Philly being so light at edge rusher, the team really needs Hunt to play.Steen, Ojomo, and Epenesa were also limited for the second day in a row. Guessing Steen and Ojomo will play. We’ll see about Epenesa.Lampkin was upgraded from DNP on Thursday to limited on Friday due to illness. Johnson was added to the report with an illness. He’ll probably be able to suit up on Monday. The Eagles listed 11 players under FULL PARTICIPATION: Drew Kendall,Zack Baun, Jalen Carter, Jordan Davis, Arnold Ebiketie, Jihaad Campbell, Britain Covey, Grant Calcaterra, Eli Stowers, Jakorian Bennett, and Hollywood Brown.Kendall was upgraded from being limited on Thursday to full go on Friday. Looks like he’ll be able to return to the starting lineup at center. If that’s the case, who plays left guard? It’ll be Dickerson if they activate him from IR prior to 4:00 PM Eastern on Monday. If not, maybe it’s Lampkin once again. Or might they move Jake Majors from center to guard? We’ll see. Baun, Carter, Davis, Ebiketie, Campbell, Covey, Calcaterra, Stowers, Bennett, and Brown were all full participants for the second day in a row. They should be healthy enough to suit up. But it remains to be seen if the Eagles will activate Calcaterra and/or Stowers and/or Bennett from injured reserve.
