Danica Patrick retired from racing years ago. Monday night, outside Wichita, her name got a shoutout at a presidential midterm rally. Not a place pit-lane regulars would look for it.What the record showsThe event was a midterm rally at Heartland Credit Union Arena in Park City, outside Wichita, on October 19. The official event page lists doors at 2:30 p.m., the program at 4:30 p.m. and presidential remarks at 6:00 p.m. It names no guests or speakers. The page carries a “Paid for by Trump 47 Committee, Inc.” disclaimer and says the event is “Not Authorized by any Candidate or Candidate’s Committee.”Related ArticlesVernon Driver Says His Hemi Challenger Is the Real Problem After a Second B.C. Her racing record lives in timing sheets. Monday’s shoutout lives in whatever recording turns up.
