International games, he continued, are “great for the game and expansion of the game and I wish there was a mandate, though, from the league — and they would have to open up their pocketbooks too, which you know, maybe they’re a little tight on money and stuff — but I think they should mandate every team coming over Sunday or Monday to really enjoy the culture and the place you’re going.”“You could do events in those cities and outreach stuff and community work but they won’t because they’re a little tight,” he added.Per CBS News, the Steelers arrived in Paris on Friday morning, while the Saints arrived earlier in the week.“I’ve played in three countries now, and each of them we’ve left on Thursday, early evening,” said Rodgers, per the outlet. “Would’ve been nice one time to come over on a Monday.”The Saints also happen to have a bye week following their trip overseas. The Steelers, who won the game 16-10, are due to face the Cleveland Browns at home in Pittsburgh on Sunday, November 1.Read More From First for SportsFootball Club President Backtracks After Female Photographer Calls Out Ban on Revealing OutfitsJoe Burrow Silences Fans Who Called Him ‘Washed’ and ‘Overrated’ as Bengals Shut Down RavensAtlanta Falcons Quietly Change Controversial Logo After Fans Compare Design to Nazi SymbolThis story Aaron Rodgers Calls Out NFL Owners Over International Games: ‘They’re a Little Tight on Money’ first appeared on First for Sports.
