‘A big hug’ – José Mourinho sarcastically dedicates Real Madrid win to Barcelona fansReal Madrid head coach José Mourinho made use of the opportunity to aim something of a lighthearted dig at a section of Barcelona’s supporters, in the aftermath of Sunday’s Clásico.Mourinho is for his part of course fresh off leading his side to a memorable victory over their arch rivals yesterday evening. After making the trip to Catalunya’s capital for a La Liga showdown with Barcelona, Real Madrid battled their way to an eventual 2-1 triumph, courtesy of a Kylian Mbappé brace. The visitors were afforded a predictably frosty reception by the home crowd in attendance at the Spotify Camp Nou, targeted with boos, jeers and whistles throughout the clash.Speaking to the media in the game’s aftermath, José Mourinho therefore took advantage of the chance to fire back at the Barcelona faithful, ‘dedicating’ Los Blancos’ three points to the Blaugrana:”I dedicate this win to the Barça fans who did not let me take my nap in the hotel today. They came to the hotel and kept singing all day; I couldn’t take my nap.”Well, I didn’t nap, but I did beat their team…”A big hug to them!”Conor Laird – GSFN
