Trump promotes Stephen Miller to become new White House chief of staff

An endangered species is returning home months after bushfires destroyed its habitat.

In a social media post, US President Donald Trump says his chief of staff will leave her post on Monday, less than a week after his Republican Party's disastrous midterm election performance.

From Neil Diamond hits to explosive hallway conversations that prompted a top lawyer to report himself to the bar standards, Russell Brand's trial was a show in itself.

Trump said Miller, currently a deputy to Susie Wiles and “one of my most trusted advisers”, would start in the top job on Monday.
