Browns NFL draft position: Rams make Week 8 worse for CLE; 2 picks very close together

Thankfully for Cleveland Browns fans, the clear and present has been the focus of much of the 2026 NFL season. HC Todd Monken and company have won enough games to allow the fanbase to focus on each week instead of already turning most of their attention to the 2027 NFL draft. Due to the extra first-round pick from the Los Angeles Rams and that team’s early injuries and struggles, draft positioning has still been important.Week 8 could have been a turning point for a lot of things circling the Browns: Cleveland was destroyed by the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the Rams dominated the Los Angeles Chargers. Those two results have turned what was a large gap between a LA Top 10 pick and a Browns late-20s pick into a much closer set of selections for Cleveland in the first round of the 2027 NFL draft. Before Monday Night Football, which could change the picks slightly, the Rams are set to select 16th overall, with Cleveland’s own pick coming two slots later, 18th.2027 NFL draft orderLos Angeles ChargersTennessee TitansMiami DolphinsIndianapolis Colts – Goes to the New York JetsPhiladelphia EaglesNew York JetsHouston TexansNew Orleans SaintsWashington CommandersDallas Cowboys – Goes to the New York JetsTampa Bay BuccaneersArizona CardinalsAtlanta FalconsLas Vegas RaidersBaltimore RavensLos Angeles Rams – Goes to the Cleveland BrownsSeattle Seahawks (Play on MNF)Cleveland BrownsCarolina PanthersGreen Bay Packers – Goes to the Dallas CowboysNew England PatriotsNew York GiantsCincinnati BengalsKansas City ChiefsJacksonville JaguarsDetroit LionsChicago Bears (Play on MNF) – Goes to the Tennessee TitansPittsburgh SteelersDenver BroncosMinnesota VikingsSan Francisco 49ersBuffalo BillsWhere do you think the Browns and Rams picks will end up when the season is over?Join the conversation!Sign up for a user account and get:Fewer adsCreate community postsComment on articles, community postsRec comments, community postsNew, improved notifications system!Download the SB Nation app on iOS or Android.
