Florida A&M football needs a win in the worst way today against longtime rival Southern. One more loss will lock up the Rattlers' second straight losing season.FAMU (2-6, 1-3 in SWAC) couldn't get one last stop against Arkansas-Pine Bluff to have a shot at winning a back-and-forth homecoming game last week, in large part because of a run defense that ranks last in the SWAC. They'll be hard-pressed to slow down Southern's Trey Holly, who ran for 156 yards and a touchdown in a 24-21 loss to Texas Southern. It was the fourth 100-yard outing in the past five games for the ninth-leading rusher in FCS (829 yards, seven TDs).Quarterback Armond Parker bounced back with a 319-yard passing day with two touchdowns while tacking on a team-high 57 yards with another score for FAMU. The freshman ranks fifth in the conference with 1,244 passing yards despite playing in just six games. He'll need a big day against a tough pass defense for the Jaguars (3-5, 1-3).Buy FAMU vs. Southern football ticketsHere's what you need to know about today's game, including time, TV schedule and streaming information:What channel is Florida A&M vs Southern on today?TV channel: Check local listings.Livestream: HBCU GoFAMU vs. Southern will broadcast nationally on HBCU Go in Week 9 of the 2026 college football season.
