Unrivaled announces 2027 rosters as Olivia Miles and Sonia Citron team up on Hive BC, while Paige Bueckers lands with Breeze

Unrivaled is back! Season 3 of the women’s three-on-three basketball league begins January 8, 2027. On Wednesday night, the league announced rosters for its eight teams. In this 3-on-3 format, each roster includes only six players. Each team will play 14 games, or every other team twice, over an 8-week season. Midway through the year, a 1-on-1 tournament with its own prize pool takes place.Last year’s championship team — Mist BC — consisted of Breanna Stewart, Arike Ogunbowale, Veronica Burton, Aalanna Smith, Li Yueru, and Allisha Gray. The unique aspect of this league is that, because of the annual player draft, players switch teams from last year, and we will see different combinations on the court. Here are the filled-out rosters for the 2027 Unrivaled season. Unrivaled says more than 75% of participating players are on multi-year deals. Still, injuries and circumstances change, so not everyone signed to the league can play, and not everyone from last year is returning.Fever forward Aliyah Boston will miss the entire Unrivaled season due to offseason surgery for an injury. Kate Martin terminated her contract with the league. Former players Rickea Jackson, Alyssa Thomas, Kesley Mitchell, Alanna Smith, and Jewell Lloyd will not return this season. How much do Unrivaled players make? Each player in the league will make a base salary of $100,000. Some of the high-profile players are expected to make more than $350,000. Championship bonuses for the winning team range from $50,000 to $100,000 per player, with a $600,000 prize pool. The midseason 1-on-1 tournament winner will take home between $200,000 and $250,000.
