UFC Vegas 123 video: Nasty Halloween-esque cut ends the fight

Halloween vibes ran rampant Saturday through the Meta APEX in more ways than one.Theodor Berggren sported a nasty gash that caused an end to his UFC Fight Night 292 bout vs. Rodrigo Sezinando – and no, it wasn't a costume.A brutal slicing elbow from Sezinando (9-2 MMA, 1-1 UFC) in Round 2 caused the fight to be stopped between rounds after a doctor's evaluation. Berggren (8-5 MMA, 0-2 UFC) looked like Robbie Lawler did during their UFC 189 bout in 2015.The elbow that caused the lip cut 😱[ #UFCVegas123 | LIVE on @paramountplus ] pic.twitter.com/sRkp8tqkDh— UFC on Paramount+ (@UFConParamount) October 31, 2026#UFCVegas123#UFCHBOMaxpic.twitter.com/6bqwXhC6K9— Pelunaton (@pelunaton) October 31, 2026Brazil's Sezinando had won the first two rounds on the judges' scorecards, mixing together powerful striking with technical grappling.
