Roquan Smith not fined for Bengals-Ravens tackle of Erick All Jr

Baltimore Ravens linebacker Roquan Smith was not fined by the NFL for a hip-drop tackle of Cincinnati Bengals tight end Erick All Jr. during their NFL Week 7 meeting at M&T Bank Stadium.There were no fines announced by the league from the Bengals-Ravens game.Bengals head coach Zac Taylor confirmed Oct. 28 that All, a former Fairfield High School standout who suffered a knee injury on Smith's third-quarter tackle, tore his ACL.The Bengals announced one day earlier they placed All on the Reserve/Injured list and signed former Bengals TE Cam Grandy off Minnesota's practice squad."You know, losing a guy like Erick, who brought a lot of toughness to what we do, and losing Tanner (Hudson), who plays a lot of different roles for us, really," Burrow said Oct. 28. "Those are two huge losses for us that … you can't really replace with just two guys," Burrow continued.Smith was injured during the fourth quarter of the game, remaining down at the end of a play after tackling Bengals running back Chase Brown. He returned to the game later in the quarter.In 2023, Smith said Burrow's wrist injury was something that sometimes happens "when you play the Ravens' (defense).""You know, he's a great player," Smith said of Burrow. "I've got a lot of respect for him, the way he plays the game.
