NFL draft expert advises Arch Manning to transfer to shocking SEC school

After looking like every bit of the generational quarterback he was billed to be out of high school while leading the Longhorns to a comeback win over the Ohio State Buckeyes, Manning struggled in consecutive losses to the Oklahoma Sooners and Florida Gators before looking more like himself in a win over the Ole Miss Rebels.Although he entered the season as the presumptive number one overall pick, there are now serious questions about whether he’ll even declare for the 2027 NFL draft, or if he’ll use his final year of collegiate eligibility to either return to Texas or enter the transfer portal.In an appearance on The Ryen Russilo Show, NFL draft expert Todd McShay predicted that Manning would return to school and then revealed where he’d like to see him transfer.“I think he’s coming back and I think he should,” McShay said, and went on to say where he’d like to see him end up after returning.“I’ve heard Georgia, I’ve heard Ole Miss, I’ve heard all different places of where he could transfer. We already talked about him, man. There’s one guy that turned Bo Nix into (the version of Bo Nix) who got drafted 12th overall. There’s one guy who turned Dylan Gabriel into a 3rd-round draft pick.“There’s one guy that turned Dante Moore into, ‘it’s not working here at UCLA.’ Now we’re saying, ‘I don’t know, the upside’s better than him on Mendoza. There’s still plenty of time for Manning to put everything together and lead the Longhorns on a deep College Football Playoff run.However, if that doesn’t happen, it sounds as if all signs are pointing toward Manning returning to college.
