Lions say LB Jack Campbell continues to recover in the hospital, early indications are positive

The Detroit Lions provided an update on linebacker Jack Campbell on Monday. "Jack Campbell continues to rest and recover at a local hospital. He was involved in a multi-player tackle that left him injured. Campbell was surrounded by teammates and was taken off the field and transported to a local hospital. Detroit went on to win 19-15, handing the Vikings their first loss of the season. Postgame, Lions head coach Dan Campbell said the linebacker is "being taken care of" but had no additional information about his condition.Jack Campbell is resting and will remain in a local hospital tonight, for continued evaluation and monitoring. The former Iowa standout, whom the Lions selected with the No. 18 overall pick in 2023, recorded three total tackles in the win. Detroit heads on the road in Week 9 to take on the Miami Dolphins before crossing the pond to face the New England Patriots in Week 10 in Munich, Germany.
