Last-place Eagles' sixth straight loss has fans fuming on X

The Philadelphia Eagles' losing streak has hit six games after a 27-10 loss to the Washington Commanders Nov. 1 in Landover, Maryland. The Eagles started fast, scoring the game's first 10 points, but then gave up 27 unanswered points for the loss. The loss put the Eagles into last place in the NFC East with a 2-6 record. Only the Los Angeles Chargers (0-7), Tennessee Titans (1-7) and Miami Dolphins (1-6) have worse records. The Eagles' night was symbolized by their 18-play drive that bridged the third and fourth quarters. Philadelphia, which trailed 16-10, got down to the Commanders' 13 before lining up to go for it on fourth-and-4. The Eagles were called for a false start. After Jake Elliott hit a 36-yard field goal, the Eagles were called for an illegal formation, taking the points off the board. Elliott then attempted a 41-yard field goal, which doinked off the upright.Well, that sequence was the Eagles season in a nutshell. At this point, we’ll be lucky if the #Eagles win two more games this season. Unfortunately, the writing is on the wall. Looks like Nick Sirianni is finished. #FlyEaglesFly#GoBirds— EastVanPhilly (@EastVanPhilly1) November 2, 2026Philadelphia Eagles of 2026 pic.twitter.com/l77xEVxvnP— Ｍr. What do you do right now? Continue to just be embarrassed week to week with him sounding like a buffoon with how tough detailed & together they are every time he’s interviewed or dump him? @Eagles— Intimidator21 🦅🇺🇸 (@Intimidator21) November 2, 2026yep we are deep in the down and sadly as a massive eagles fan i question now where we are in the winning mindset do we rally to win or are we knowingly done for the conference after watching this tonight i know the answer— Brian (@warrior00017) November 2, 2026#EaglesThis is it. Total overhaul. Sirianni needs to be fired immediately. McKee benched.. immediately. We need a proven OC and BEG Stout to come back. There is absolutely no reason to keep this dumpster fire going. Pull the plug, get the best pick possible & move on.— Lake (Sir Lakes A Lot) (@lakewizz) November 2, 2026That legit may have been one of the worst Eagles games I have ever watched in my life, almost 30 years of watching this team.— King (@ThatGUY_King) November 2, 2026forfeit the season.just an awful shell of a football team.— Jon (@Formologie) November 2, 2026This article originally appeared on Delaware News Journal: Last-place Eagles' sixth straight loss has fans fuming on X
