Joe Burrow among NFL's best QBs for Week 8. See where Bengals star ranks

Cincinnatians already know Joe Burrow is one of the NFL’s top quarterbacks, and this season’s stats are backing that up.Burrow ranks among the league’s top starting quarterbacks this season in ESPN’s "Total QBR" rating, a metric designed to measure a quarterback’s overall contribution to winning.Unlike traditional passer rating, Total QBR evaluates how a QB "impacts the game on passes, rushes, turnovers and penalties,” according to ESPN.The metric also considers game situations that traditional passer rating does not, evaluating the success or failure of each play and assigning credit among the quarterback and his teammates to "produce a clearer measure of quarterback efficiency.”Here’s how Burrow stacks up against the NFL’s other starting quarterbacks entering Week 8.NFL quarterbacks ranked by Total QBR49ers QB Brock Purdy: 79.6Bears QB Caleb Williams: 79.1Cowboys QB Dak Prescott: 77.3Bengals QB Joe Burrow: 77.2Bills QB Josh Allen: 76.6Patriots QB Drake Maye: 76.3Texans QB C.J.
