I did well, didn't I?: Uzun understands Hütter's criticismAfter public criticism from Adi Hütter, Can Uzun was at his best in his second meeting with Hamburger SV in five days. The 20-year-old playmaker proved decisive in Eintracht Frankfurt’s 3-1 home win—and earned unreserved praise from his head coach.Uzun picked up right where he had left off with his committed display in their DFB-Pokal victory, after which Hütter had already highlighted his greater willingness and passion."I did well, didn’t I?" the youngster joked on 'DAZN' after the final whistle. “When winning the ball back ends in a goal like that, it’s perfect.” He took his coach’s earlier warnings in stride: “I’m someone who gets criticized a lot anyway, whether it’s by the fans or my coach. I know he just wants to make me better.”His performance sent a clear message. Hütter was impressed both by the 90 minutes and by his midfielder’s comments afterward: “It’s always about performance. I want him to become a better player. When he plays like that, the moments of quality follow. Then he plays those through balls and wins his challenges.”Support also came from within the team. Goalkeeper Noah Atubolu emphasized in the mixed zone: “Can has done really well in the last two games. Can is a really, really good lad."This article was translated into English by Artificial Intelligence. You can read the original version in 🇩🇪 here.
