That’s because Bashi is considered on the best rising prospects at 145 pounds and the fact that Calderon was stepping up on just a few days notice. It was a tough ask for Calderon and a prime opportunity for Bashi to outshine a UFC newbie.Calderon, who came over from Fury FC, didn’t have any trouble firing out the gate and trying to make it a brawl. Unfortunately for him, Bashi didn’t need long to bring this fight to the ground. Once there, the 25-year-old was able to work his way to Calderon’s back and locked in the rear-naked choke.
