Glasner admits his ‘patience has gone’ after another Nottingham Forest defeatOliver Glasner warned his Nottingham Forest players that his “patience has gone” after their 2-0 defeat to Brentford extended a poor run of form.Forest have now lost four of their last five games and Glasner admitted he may have made too many compromises, insisting his players must now respond to a clearer message.“Losing four of the last five games, it’s not okay, it’s not good enough,” Glasner told BBC Radio Nottingham.“This is what we have to change.“For me, it’s pretty clear now that maybe I made too many compromises in a few things.“It’s about a clear message then it’s up to the players to buy in and if not, the sixth manager in a row will come in, that’s football. I have no concerns about it.”Glasner believes Forest are being let down by the basics, pointing to their running and duels as areas which must improve before tactics can even be considered.“There are enough positive signs to take wins from all the games but we have to look at all the details,” he said.“If you are, in every single game, out-run by the opposition, if you’re losing too many duels, that’s the basics.“If you can’t change this, then you can’t talk about the tactics, back three, four, five, six, eight, nine, it doesn’t matter.”The Forest boss was also frustrated by the manner in which his side conceded against Brentford.“I think we controlled the game, we did very well, then it was a long ball from the keeper and we are just not aware enough, losing the duel and it’s an own goal,” he said.“We can say unlucky but no. The fourth long ball from a keeper where we concede. It’s not being unlucky, it’s just a lack of awareness, and we knew they go long.”Glasner added that the issue is no longer about preparation but about his players carrying instructions onto the pitch.“It’s not about preparation, it’s about transferring it onto the pitch,” he said.“Get it on the pitch. Not on the video screen or before. Get it on the pitch. Do it.“My patience has gone now.”
