Former Iowa women's basketball guard Callie Levin named UNI captain

After transferring to Northern Iowa over the offseason, former Iowa women's basketball guard Callie Levin has been named a Panthers team captain this season.Voted on by her teammates, Levin was chosen as one of Northern Iowa's three captains.“I want to be a leader, right from the start on the court,” Levin said. “Just being able to have my teammates trust me from the get-go is huge. I love these girls and what we’ve been able to do this summer, and so yeah, being chosen as a captain is amazing.”Northern Iowa head women's basketball coach Tanya Warren praised Levin.“The one thing that I know was unanimous is her work ethic, her communication, and how she never, ever, ever changes whether she’s scoring or she’s not.
