On Saturday evening, the USC football team will return home to the Coliseum to host Ohio State. After an ugly loss at Wisconsin last week, the Trojans are desperate for a victory to get their season back on track.Prior to each game this season, I will be giving you five things to expect. So without further ado, here are my predictions for USC-Ohio State:Bouncing backUSC quarterback Jayden Maiava had one of his worst games as a Trojan against Wisconsin. He bounces back against Ohio State, recording at least two total touchdowns.Thinking positiveThe fact that I even have to predict this is absurd, but unlike last week, the Trojans finish with a positive number of rushing yards!Oh SmithOhio State wide receiver Jeremiah Smith might be the best player in college football. He goes off for over 100 yards and at least one touchdown against USC.Playing it safe on special teamsLast week, the Trojans missed two long field goals. Looking to avoid the same fate this week, Lincoln Riley does not attempt any kicks over 45 yards.Getting coveredThe Buckeyes are favored by roughly a touchdown over the Trojans. Ohio State covers that number with relative ease.Contact/Follow @TrojansWire on X (formerly Twitter) and like our page on Facebook to follow ongoing coverage of USC Trojans news, notes and opinion. This article originally appeared on Trojans Wire: Five things to expect in USC’s blue blood battle with Ohio State
