Crown Jewel predictions: Who are the best champions in WWE?

Who will be able to call themselves the top champion of WWE?Wrestling returns to Saudi Arabia for Crown Jewel 2026, an event that doesn't impact the grand scheme of things, but consquential in the effect of it could have. The Crown Jewel Championship matches pit the men's and women's top title contenders against each other − Roman Reigns vs. Sami Zayn and Liv Morgan vs. Chelsea Green − for the right to be declared the best on the roster, with the losers getting massive hits to their status, leaving them vulnerable to lose their gold.Elsewhere, Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton meet to finally declare the true winner of their yearlong feud, and tag team titles could change hands with an unlikley pairing. Here are the picks for every match at Crown Jewel 2026:World Tag Team Championship match: The Vision (Bron Breakker and Austin Theory) vs Penta and Je'Von EvansAn unusual pairing faces the champions, but the high-flying ability between the challengers gives a chance for this to be an explosive battle. On paper, The Vision should have no trouble retaining the titles, but this one is bound to have some extracurriculars. Bronson Reed will try to give his side the upper hand, which then results in Oba Femi getting the arena rocking and wrecking havoc. His assistance paves the way for Penta and Evans to come up with the win and take the titles. Winner: Penta and Je'Von Evans.Last Man Standing match: Cody Rhodes vs. Randy OrtonTied at 1-1, the third match between Rhodes and Orton this year will determine the true winner of this heated feud. Given the need to put the opponent down for a 10 count to win, this may be the longest match of the day. You can expect this match to leak out into the crowd − something you rarely see during matches in Saudi Arabia − and some viciousness coming from Rhodes' side. Orton needs this win to kickstart one last chance at gold, but Rhodes is still QB1 and has an extremely good track record when competing in Riyadh. "The American Nightmare" outlasts Orton and gets revenge in the name of his father. Winner: Cody Rhodes.WWE Women's Crown Jewel Championship match: Chelsea Green vs Liv MorganFor making Green the Women's Champion, WWE hasn't presented her like one with a 5-4 record since winning the title, just scraping by in matches she wins. This has largely been presented with Morgan having a clear advantage, and for good reason given her longevity and understanding of what it takes to be a champion. Morgan already has a Crown Jewel title ring, and it's perfectly set up for her to be the first one to get multiple. At the same time, it be a critical error to hand Green another loss, and she should pull off the upset that possibly opens the door for Tiffany Stratton to actually cash in with her Money in the Bank briefcase. Winner: Chelsea Green.WWE Crown Jewel Championship match: Sami Zayn vs Roman ReignsWho will be feeling Ucey after this one? The once friends and foes clash in a battle that's gotten pretty personal, and has shown Zayn can go toe-to-toe with the "OTC." There is an extreme advantage for Reigns as he's never lost to Zayn 1-on-1, and in order for that to happen, some outside escalation will need to happen in order to catch him off guard. The 946 could come into play here, but even if they do, it just doesn't seem logical for Zayn to emerge victorious in this one. Reigns has won just about everything in WWE, so it only makes sense he add another championship to his resume and assert himself as the top guy in wrestling. Winner: Roman Reigns. This article originally appeared on USA TODAY: Crown Jewel predictions: Who are the best champions in WWE?
