Canelo Alvarez vs Christian Mbilli live updates: Fight time, where to watch

Canelo Alvarez has seldom found himself without a championship belt to strap around his waist. But following a unanimous decision defeat to Terence Crawford last September, Alvarez now looks to reinsert himself into the title picture at super middleweight, challenging undefeated WBC champion Christian Mbilli in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Oct. 31.Mbilli holds the same WBC title which was long Alvarez's ahead of his bout against Crawford, having been elevated from interim champion status following Crawford's retirement."I don't believe in shortcuts. So I go straight (for) the champion," Alvarez said at the final press conference. "I already have the experience. I've been a champion many years and I want to be a champion again and I want to face the best."Many have called for the card to be canceled amid ongoing attacks in Riyadh, but the Turki Alalshikh-backed event is set to proceed in spite of the unrest in Saudi Arabia's capital.Follow along below for The Tennessean's live updates throughout the Mbilli vs. Alvarez fight card.Watch Canelo vs. Mbilli on DAZN PPVCanelo vs Mbilli: Who holds height advantage?10:10 AM ET, October 31 2026, Harrison CampbellChristian Mbilli will hold a slight size advantage on Alvarez in the ring.
