The Denver Broncos activated wide receiver Pat Bryant (ankle) from injured reserve to the 53-man roster on Saturday, the team announced. The team had room for Bryant after defensive lineman Eyioma Uwazurike (shoulder) was placed on short-term IR. Bryant (6-2, 204 pounds) now slots in as the team's No. 3 receiver behind Jaylen Waddle and Courtland Sutton. He rejoins Troy Franklin and Marvin Mims in the rotation after spending the last four games on IR. Bryant, 23, was picked by the Broncos in the third round of last year's NFL draft out of Illinois. He was healthy for 15 games last season, hauling in 31 receptions for 378 yards and a touchdown as a rookie. This year, Bryant totaled nine catches for 133 yards and a score through four games before landing on IR. NFL teams are allowed to designate up to four players to return from IR each season. Bryant is the fourth player Denver has designated to return this fall, joining offensive lineman Frank Crum (leg), tight end Caleb Lohner (foot) and running back Jonah Coleman, who returned in Week 7. Crum and Lohner have not yet returned to practice.Social: Follow Broncos Wire on Facebook and Twitter/X!
