Photo by Ron Jenkins/Getty ImagesCooper Flagg is one of the most exciting names in basketball right now.The teenager won the Rookie of the Year award following a sensational season with the Dallas Mavericks last year, and he has gone up a level in this campaign.Mavs legend Derek Harper has now had his say on young Flagg.Derek Harper says Cooper Flagg will become one of the best players everDespite being just 19 years of age, Flagg is already regarded as one of the most complete players in the NBA.The Mavs youngster can do almost everything, and the fact that he is still a teenager means he will only get better in the coming years. That is why Harper believes Flagg will go on to become one of the greats of the game. He has also claimed that the teen is hiding his personality, almost like a wolf in sheep’s clothing, because of his age.He said on SiriusXM NBA Radio: “Just playing the game he plays now, he will be one of the best ever players. And I don’t think I’m exaggerating when I say that.“I just watch him, and we don’t even know Cooper yet because he’s really the big bad wolf. He’s such a humble kid. He hasn’t shown his personality.“The only reason he hasn’t is because he’s just 19. He doesn’t really want to be a b******* of a guy. He’s special, man. He really is. Cooper is special.”There’s definitely a lot to still come from Cooper – not just with respect to his personality but also his skills on the floor. He has all the qualities to become a superstar. However, we should remember that Flagg is still only 19 and doesn’t need more pressure than he already is under. He should be given time to develop and hopefully fulfil his potential.
