Diggs took an official visit to Tucson for the Red-Blue Showcase in late September. Diggs is one of the “more naturally gifted two-way prospects,” according to 247Sports’ Adam Finkelstein. “Physically, he has solid size for a combo-guard, good length (6-foot-7 wingspan), and an emerging power body,” Finkelstein wrote in July. “He’s a good, not great, vertical athlete, who is better when he can elevate off two, and also a fluid mover. He’s a very talented defender, both on and off the ball. He has some versatility, but can also impact the game around the rim.”Diggs would be the third top-rated combo guard to play for Arizona in as many years, following Brayden Burries and Caleb Holt. Arizona previously had former McDonald’s All-American Caleb Love for two years. Landing Diggs would help take some of the pressure off Lloyd and the Arizona coaching staff after they missed on 5-star wing Darius Wabbington and 4-star big man Kamsi Awaka in consecutive days a month ago. Like Diggs, both players visited Arizona for Red-Blue weekend. Arizona is expected to bring a light high school recruiting class next year. The Wildcats do not have any other active offers out to other uncommitted high school players. That would suggest Arizona will rely heavily on the transfer portal and international recruiting to fill the 2027-28 roster.
